Rawalpindi, Dec. 25 (TNS): On direction of IG Prisons Punjab Mirza Shahid Saleem Baig, Christmas celebrations were arranged at the Central Jail Rawalpindi.
Special ceremony was organized by the jail authorities where church located in jail was decorated with illuminations and lights.
Jail authorities also expressed greetings to the inmates in connection with the Christmas festival.
Christmas gifts, cake and sweets were also distributed to Christian inmates.
On eve of birthday anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, special ceremony was held at community hall of the central Jail.
Meanwhile, IG Prisons Punjab Mirza Shahid Saleem Baig inaugurated Day Care Center and Free Medical Dispensary in Jail Colony.
