New Delhi, Jan. 30 (TNS): A “die-hard” fan of Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia hurled a shoe at the starlet during a function in Indian city of Hyderabad.

The footwear was thrown at Himyathnagar by a 31-year-old man when Tamannah had gone to inaugurate a jewellery store, police said. They further added that the shoe hit an employee of the store.

While the shoe missed its aim, Tamannaah was definitely taken aback by the miscreant’s behaviour. The security personnel acted immediately and caught hold of the culprit behind the act.

Karimullah, a BTech graduate, and a resident of Musheerabad allegedly hurled a footwear while the actress was coming out of the store, Narayanguda Police Station Inspector B Ravindar told Indian media.

“The footwear missed its target, while it hit an employee of the jewellery store,” the officer said.

However, the arrested man explained Tamannah’s absence from Telugu films as of late as the reason for his misbehaviour. He called himself a ‘die-hard’ fan of the South Indian superstar.
