Islamabad, Feb. 6 (TNS): The Federal Cabinet on Tuesday approved proposal for reduction in prices of various drugs and notifying their maximum retail price in line with the Drug Pricing Policy.
The Cabinet meeting was held in Islamabad with Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the chair.
The meeting also discussed the issues being faced by the sugarcane growers and directed the provincial governments to fulfill their responsibility towards ensuring prompt payments at notified rates to farmers by the sugar mills immediately.
The Cabinet also approved signing of Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of information between the Committee on Television and Radio of the Governments of Tajikistan and Ministry of Information, Broadcasting & National Heritage of Pakistan.
