Karachi March 16 (TNS): A fake gynecologist, who was arrested on March 13 from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre’s gynecology ward, has made startling revelations.
According to the Karachi police, the fake doctor, identified as Simreen, has told the investigators that she had been luring potential customers on the social media before they were brought to the hospital for caesarian surgery at the gynecology ward, where a senior gynecologist would perform the procedure and at the end she and three other doctors including Dr Ali would equally distribute the money earned from each operation.
According to sources, she further told the police that she had no medical qualification but she had got herself inducted at the gynecology ward after greasing the palm of some senior hospital officials.
The police said that they had called Dr Ali and two other doctors including a senior gynecologist to the Women Police Station for questioning
On Tuesday, the Karachi police had arrested the fake gynecologist from the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre after the hospital administration alerted the police about the presence of an anonymous and suspicious lady doctor at the gynecology ward.
