KOHAT March 20 (TNS): The Usterzai Police Station House Officer and an alleged kidnapper were killed in crossfire in the Boditang area of Kohat on Tuesday.
A police party headed by Abbas Ali was carrying out an operation to recover an abducted man in Boditang area, when the alleged kidnapper, Kinkhab, opened fire on the police. In the exchange of fire, SHO Abbas Ali and the alleged kidnapper were killed.
The funeral of the martyred police officer was attended by a large number of people including senior police officials. He was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard.
