Gujranwala, March 22 (TNS): District Commissioner Gujranwala Sohail Ahmad Tippu was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his residence under mysterious circumstances.
According to the servants, when Tippu did not show up for breakfast in the morning, they became suspicious and knocked on the door but did not get any response. They alerted the police that reached the spot and broke the door and found Tippu hanging from the ceiling fan while his hands were tied to a rope. The reason behind the death could not be ascertained immediately.
The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Gujranwala for medico-legal formalities.
