Islamabad March 22 (TNS): Pakistan People’s Party Senator Sherry Rehman was elected as the opposition leader in the Senate, said a notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan here on Thursday.
The PPP had filed the nomination papers of Senator Rehman and she succeeded in getting the support of 34 senators including those from Balochistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
