Islamabad, March 24 (TNS): Two personnel of Islamabad police were shot injured in federal capital, officials said here.
According to officials, the incident took place within jurisdiction of Koral Police Station where unknown gunmen on motorbike opened fire on cops near Sultana Foundation late Friday night.
Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after the incident.
Policemen identified as Zulfiqar and Zafar sustained bullet injuries and were shifted to Poly Clinic for medical treatment.
Police kicked off its investigations into the incident.
