Islamabad, March 25 (TNS): Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) parliamentary board is the body which decides on distribution of party tickets for elections, says a press release issued by the PM House here on Sunday.
According to a statement, the decision to give out party tickets is taken after a comprehensive process of consultation.
Abbasi, in an interview earlier, had also said that the PML-N’s parliamentary board is the relevant forum for issuing party tickets and it is not a one-man decision.
PM Abbasi statement come in connection with the recent remarks of Pervaiz Rasheed against Chaudhry Nisar.
Media reports quoting Pervez Rasheed said the party will not give a ticket to disgruntled party leader Chaudhry Nisar.
Earlier, Nisar publicly lashed out at Maryam Nawaz saying that former First Daughter’s sharp tongue’ is harming the party.
