United Nations, March 25 (TNS): International Day of Solidarity with detained and missing staff members of the United Nations is being observed on Sunday, says a statement issued by UN.
Its aim is to protect UN staff and peacekeepers, as well as staff of non-governmental community and press, through mobilizing action and demanding justice for them.
In his message on the occasion, UN Secretary-General António Guterres has called for strengthening the resolve and means to protect UN staffs who works for peace, sustainable development and human rights for all.
