DG Khan March 31 (TNS): In an inference to incessant suo moto notices and political cases in courts, Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said on Saturday change should come through ballot and polling stations and not through courts.

He said this while performing the groundbreaking of the northern bypass and the widening of Rakhi Gajj Bewata section-1 that would help reduce travel time as around 2.5 million people would benefit from the project on a daily basis. The bypass is 18 kilometer-long with five bridges and a flyover.

PM Abbasi said that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz served the masses despite hurdles and odds and on the basis of its performance, it will also win the upcoming general election not only from DG Khan but also in other parts of the country.

The premier said that the incumbent government has completed a number of development projects including roads, schools, hospitals and power projects and the detractors also acknowledge this milestone.

He said that the people were the decision makers and it were they who would decide who to vote for in the next general elections.

He also announced that the DG Khan airport would now be called as Farooq Ahmed Leghari airport.
