Shikarpur July 3 (TNS): At least eight people including an 8-year-old girl were killed and five others injured in a violent clash between two groups in the remote Khanpur village of Shikarpur district on Monday.
The small girl and the other victims fell prey to the exchange of fire between two groups belonging to the Jatoi clan and Saad Khanani.
The clash happened over an old enmity and turned violent and continued for several hours as police could not make it to the clash site due to its remoteness.
The bodies and the injured were shifted to a local hospital. The police have registered a case.
