Islamabad April 5 (TNS): The Federal Investigative Agency’s cyber cell on Thursday arrested a ‘fake Pir ‘for his alleged involvement in harassing women after putting their pictures on the social media.
According to the FIA, the suspect, Muhammad Yaqoob, who was impersonating himself a Pir would take pictures of visiting women, by making them lie on the bed, on the pretext of treatment and later upload them on the social media. He was accused of harassing the women on the social media by uploading the pictures and videos.
On complaints of several women, the FIA cyber wing raided his place of work and took him into custody and also confiscated the pictures and several videos from his possession.
On Thursday, the FIA took a seven-day physical remand of the suspect from a local magistrate in Islamabad.
