Rawalpindi, April 16 (TNS): People of Rawalpindi irked by decision to halt funds for development project on eve of upcoming general elections.
As general elections 2018 come closer, various organizations have halted funds for development projects to prevent pre-poll rigging.

This step has paused work on underway development projects in the city which irked the masses.
People of Rawalpindi said that institutions must work in the limits defined in the constitution of Pakistan.

Work on ongoing development projects in almost all the areas of Rawalpindi halted and masses are facing problems due to incomplete projects.
People say that construction of streets and roads left unfinished in the midway which causes severe problems for them.
Citizens say it is duty of civic bodies not elected representatives to initiate development projects.
