Islamabad, July 4 (TNS): Probe of the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has entered in concluding phase as the investigation body summoned NAB Chairman Chaudhry Qamar Zaman on Wednesday in wake of alleged offshore wealth of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family.
A meeting of the JIT was held on Tuesday in which it was decided to summon Chaudhry Qamar Zaman.
The NAB Chairman has been ordered to present himself before the JIT on Wednesday at 11 am.
Maryam Nawaz, daughter of the Prime Minister, is also all set to appear before the probe team on the same day.
Maryam will be the sixth member of the Sharif family to appear before the high-profile probe team, formed on May 6 in light of the Supreme Court’s April 20 judgment in the Panama Papers case.
