Darren Sammy will take part in Zalmi excellence awards in Pakistan

Islamabad, April 24 (TNS): Heartthrob of PSL and Peshawar Zalmi skipper Darren Sammy will return to Pakistan for Annual Zalmi Excellence Awards.

Peshawar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi made the announcement on Friday courtesy a tweet:

Awards will take place on April 30 in the federal capital, Islamabad and the event’s red carpet will be graced by legendary cricketers such as Brian Lara and Sir Vivian Richards to name a few.

The Zalmi owner also tweeted that former England Skipper and commentator Nasser Hussain, Former Australian Bowler Jeff Thomson and iconic English batsman Graham Gooch will also accompany Darren Sammy in the ceremony.

Sammy is one of the most loved cricketers in Pakistan who frequently took to social media to post a better image of Pakistan, cricket and the love he has received from the country while representing Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Peshawar Zalmi who is known to be the most popular and fearsome side in PSL finished as runners-up in the third edition of the tournament this year and were champions in the previous campaign.
