QUETTA, 25 April (TNS): Quetta Division Abdullah Khosa Tuesday said traffic police and other departments concerned were taking strict action against illegal rickshaws, fake permits and poor condition of buses in the capital city.
He was talking to Rickshaw Owners Union (ROU) and Showrooms Association (SA) representatives, who called on him at his office, a press release said. The RTA secretary said measures were being taken to prevent illegal vehicles, including rickshaws for the betterment of traffic system in the city.
The non-permit rickshaws and condition vehicles were creating traffic problems. Abdullah Khosa urged rickshaw owners and Showrooms Association representatives to cooperate with local administrations for prevention of illegal vehicles and fake permit holders, which had become a security risk in the city.
