Los Angeles, April 30 (TNS): Avengers: Infinity War has set the box-office on fire ever since its release on April 27.  The film is not only killing it on the box-office in America, but worldwide as well. Since its release, it has already managed to break several box-office records, the biggest of them being the highest opening weekend grosser at the worldwide box office.

Avengers beat the record which was set by The Fate of the Furious, which made $543 million after its release last year. After raking in $630 million at the global box office, the latest Marvel superhero release has crushed the record by a huge margin.  And considering the fact, that it has broken record without even getting a release in China is what makes it even more special.

Talking about this feat and the breakdown of collections in America and the international markets, trade analyst and industry tracker – Ramesh Bala revealed on Twitter, “By a huge margin, #AvengersInfinityWar with $630 Million beats #FateOfTheFurious’ $543 Million to become All-time No.1 Opening weekend Movie at the Global Box office. North America – $250 Million. International – $380 Million. Total – $630 Million.”

Just looking at these figures, we can’t help but imagine what the box-office figures would have looked like if it was released in China as well. Well, we can be sure of the fact that whenever it does get released in China, it will have an incredible run in the Chinese box-office as well.

Avengers : Infinity War marks the humiliation of 10 years of Marvel’s storytelling.
