Islamabad May 2 (TNS): The interior ministry on Wednesday lifted the ban on the issuance of Non-Prohibited Bore Arms license.
According to a notification issued by the capital administration, the NPB licenses will be issued after completing the legal and codal formalities while the SOP will be issued by the district magistrate, Islamabad.
The citizens will submit an application to the Islamabad administration while the authority will issue the license within the 30 days of submission of the application.
Citizens will submit a photograph, a copy of national identity card and a residence proof along with the Application.
According to the notification, Citizens can get licenses of the revolvers, pistol and rifle including short non-automatic guns and Pump Action guns.
The licenses will be issued after the verification of the local police and special branch.
