Ahmed Shehzad fined over a spat with Team-mate

Faisalabad, May 4 (TNS): Pakistan’s opening batsman Ahmed Shehzad who is also leading Balochistan in the ongoing Pakistan cup was fined on Saturday after a bad conduct with his teammate Rizwan Hussain in a match against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Shehzad was run out in the game against KPK after a misunderstanding between the two batsmen caused error of judgement, as a result of which Shehzad lost the plot and misbehaved with Hussain.

The Pakistan batsman was fined 40% of his match fee after the umpire reported the incident to the match referee.

Meanwhile, Federal Areas captain Kamran Akmal was handed a ban of one match for slow over-rate in a Pakistan cup fixture.

Pakistan’s fast bowler Usman Shinwari also landed himself in hot water, as he was fined 50% of his match fee, after the pacer who represents Federal Areas, misbehaved while dismissing a batsman as he took a five-for.
