LAHORE, May 09 (TNS): Punjab Gov’t has announced abolishment of fee of all laboratory investigations/tests in outsourced laboratories of public health facilities for the current financial year.
A notification issued in this regard has also directed that the decision of lab fee abolishment shall be displayed at all prominent places of healthcare.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif on Tuesday inaugurated emergency block, CT scan machine and pathology lab at DHQ Hospital Chakwal. On the occasion, he announced to immediately abolish the tests’ fee in hospitals’ outdoor pathology labs across the province and said that all tests in outdoor pathology labs in the whole of Punjab will be conducted free of cost. Every possible resource will be provided in this regard, he added.
