Islamabad’s Zonal SP’s directed to ensure 11 rejected international NGO’s aren’t working

ISLAMABAD, May 09 (TNS): Islamabad Police has issued a directive to all the Zonal SP’s to ensure that none of the 11 international NGO’s, refused by Interior Ministry to work in Pakistan, aren’t working in their respective areas.

These NGO’s had applied for registration, however, the Interior Ministry refused to grant them permission to operate in Pakistan.

Among the NGO’s 4 are based in UK, two in USA and one each in China, Denmark, Switzerland and Netherlands. One of the NGO’s is Pakistan based which operates in Central Asia.
