Islamabad May 12 (TNS): The American envoy who is involved in killing a youth in Islamabad in a road accident on Saturday reportedly not allowed to leave Pakistan while the plane arrived to take him away, sent back Noor Khan Air Base.
According to media reports, the Noor Khan Air Base authorities have contacted the Federal Investigation to check whether Colonel Jhoseph could fly out of the country.
The American plane C130 was reportedly sent back and the envoy was sent to the US consulate.
Col Joseph Emanuel Hall, Defence and Air Attache at the US Embassy, had killed a motorcyclist and injured another on Margalla Road on April 7.

Ateeq Baig, 22, was killed on the spot while his pillion rider was injured.
The interior ministry has placed his name in the blacklist and he is not allowed to leave the country without taking NOC from the concerned authorities. A case against the US envoy is under proceeding in Supreme Court of Pakistan over the accident while the court has directed to decide the matter that whether to put his name in Exit control list or not. The court has also made it clear that Col Joseph has not any absolute immunity.
