Shalimar Police hoodwink high-ups

ISLAMABAD, May 12 (TNS): Police affiliated to Shalimar Station here on Saturday hoodwinked their high-ups by arresting drug peddlers and setting a few of them free after reportedly taking bribe from them.

According to the sources the cops arrested 12 gamblers after conducting a raid on a facility used to house the illegal activity.

To get acclaimed and possibly reward money the raiding team has hoodwinked the high-ups by giving the impression that it has in real terms done a commendable job.

But two gamblers namely Iqbal alias Bala and Hamid were set free after taking hefty sum from them as bribe. Iqbal was set free on spot and Hamid after brought to the police station with other gamblers.
