S. Dulat and Asad Durrani, respectively, co-authored a book.

Dulat and Durrani had co-authored a book named Spy Chronicles: RAW, ISI and the Illusion of Peace which has recently been published.

“It is shocking that on one hand Pakistan and India relations are at an all-time low and on the other hand, former spy chiefs of both the countries are teaming up to write a book,” Rabbani said.

He further said if a civilian or a politician would have done a similar act, there would be “hue and cry”. He said a politician amounting to do such a thing would have been labeled as a “traitor”.

The Spy Chronicles which has been an effort by two former chiefs of rival agencies had been all over the news even before the book was published.

Earlier on Thursday, the book launching ceremony was attended by the former Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. While Dulat was present at the event but his co-author Durrani failed to come as he reportedly could not get the Indian visa.
