London, May 27 (TNS): Pakistan wrapped up a convincing victory at Lord’s on Sunday morning to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series against England.

Half-centuries from Jos Buttler and Dom Bess made Pakistan bat again but the home side only scored another eight runs on the morning of day four to set Pakistan a modest target of 64.

Sarfraz Ahmed’s impressive tourists knocked off the runs for the loss of just one wicket in a dominant display with bat and ball.

Joe Root’s side were comprehensively outplayed in the first Test of the English summer and have now lost six of their last eight Test matches – the other two ended in draws.
