Kiev, May 30 (TNS): A Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko, who was an outward critic of the Kremlin’s military interference in Ukraine and Syria, was shot dead on Tuesday.
Babchenko was shot at his home and died on his way to the hospital, CNN reported.

The Guardian Published Babchenko’s article in which he wrote about his experience suffering political harassment in Putin’s Russia, after that he left Russia in 2017. He wrote about the Russian bombing of Aleppo, Syria, killing civilians.
The Russian Foreign Ministry demanded an independent investigation by calling it an armed assault.
