Karachi, June 9 (TNS): Lightingale Productions of Ali Zafar “starrer” Teefa in Trouble, directed by Ahsan Rahim, has announced its collaboration on Friday with one of the biggest cinema production companies in Bollywood, Yash Raj Films.
Ali Zafar announced the historic partnership on twitter and he was overwhelmed and humbled by the collaboration, the actor said during an interview,” Today I feel deeply humbled to have a huge dream fulfilled. To take our cinema global in the best possible manner and to do it with a company that is not just a company but an idea that love transcends all.”
The rockstar has a longstanding relation with the Yash Raj Films productions as he signed two films with them “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan and Kill Dill” back in 2010.
YRF will make sure through it’s collaboration that the film is watched globally and will distribute the film in the biggest markets of the world.
The YRF Vice president said in a statement, “We have produced two films with Ali Zafar and also one album, and we all know YRF and Ali Zafar’s relationship is full of compassion, it’s like a home to him in India, we have never distributed any film before from any part of the world let alone Pakistan, but because Ali Zafar is producing this film, it will surely be our first endeavor in distributing international films.”
Teefa In Trouble will hit the cinema theatres, in Pakistan and globally on July 20.
