The warrant came after a Bulgarian government order, which directed Interpol to get Saif’s statement on the matter; the actor’s agent has also been booked in the same case.

According to various media reports, the Bulgarian police had summoned the 47-year-old actor regarding the case over a month ago. The reports say that the agent organized the wild boar hunting without permission and licenses but the Bulgarian government requires foreigners to hold a hunting license from their own country or pass a test in Bulgaria to hunt. However, in India, it is not possible to get a license as hunting is banned as part of the Wildlife Protection Act.

Saif was summoned in April in the blackbuck poaching case in which Salman Khan was the main accused. The actor was acquitted along with Tabu, Neelam, and others while they were shooting for Hum Saath Saath Hain in Rajasthan.
