PPP manifesto has been always pro- poor says Bilawal

Mandi Bahauddin July 18, (TNS): Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that his party’s manifesto has always been pro-poor and pro-farmer.

Addressing election gathering in Mandi Bahauddin, he said that PPP has planned to introduce Farmer card and will provide subsidies to them.

He expressed concern over participation of banned outfits in the July 25 elections. The PPP leader slammed politics of hatred and stressed the need to conform to politics that is based on vision and has an ideology.

We have to put an end to politics that revolves around hate and foul language and for that we need the vote and support of our people. We need people power,” he said. Condemning the banned outfits, he said, “The participation of banned outfits in elections is akin to defaming and degrading democracy and democratic principles,” he added. Bilawal said if elected he would work for empowerment and emancipation of women.

He also promised interest-free loans to women from poor backgrounds and food stores run by females.
