Islamabad July 10 (TNS): The Met Office has forecast monsoon rains in different parts of the country from Monday.
Heavy rainfall has been predicted at a number of places including in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions, and Kashmir while at scattered places in Malakand, Peshawar divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan. A hot and humid weather has been forecast for the rest of the country with scattered rain and thundershowers with gusty winds at isolated places.
Meanwhile, a 39C temperature was recorded in Islamabad, 40C in Lahore, 41C in Peshawar, 40C in Quetta, 42C in Gilgit city, 38C in Chitral, 38C in Muzaffarabad, 23C in Muree, 40C in Faisalabad, 39C in Multan and 30C in Hyderabad on Monday.
