Lahore, Aug. 19 (TNS): The session of Punjab Assembly on Sunday kicked off to elect new Chief Minister of the province.
Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi chaired the session.
Usman Ahmad Buzdaar is the joint candidate of PTI-PML (Q) coalition while PML-N has fielded Hamza Shahbaz Sharif as its candidate for the slot.
All necessary administrative and security measures are in place to ensure a smooth electoral process.
