Mumbai, Sept. 6 (TNS): Mahira Khan recently penned her experience of meeting Afghan refugees in Karachi in collaboration with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Taking to Instagram, the Raees actor revealed two of the youngest refugees there were big fans of Bollywood star, Varun Dhawan.

“These two boys followed me around the whole time,” Mahira wrote.

“They hadn’t watched any of my films but they insisted they knew someone called Raja. They said ‘Raja hero hai!’. We kept trying to guess who they are talking about.”

“Finally they sang a song from Varun Dhawan’s film. They also said they want to be like him. Told them one day In sha Allah they will be,” the starlet added.

To this, the Judwaa 2 actor promptly responded, “That’s so amazing that you’re doing this work. I saw the video and it brought a big smile on my face. Sending lots of love!”

He also thanked Mahira for sharing the video.
