Islamabad, Oct 11 (TNS): The 17th Council of Heads of Government meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) begins in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on Thursday.
According to a tweet of Foreign Office Spokesperson, Dr Muhammad Faisal, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will represent Pakistan in the two-day SCO Heads of Government Council’s meeting.
Earlier, talking to the Head of United States Institute of Peace Stephen Headley in Islamabad, Foreign Minister has reiterated Pakistan’s support for peace in Afghanistan and the region.
