DIG arranges farewell party for outgoing officers

KARACHI, Oct 17 (TNS): Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) West Khadim Hussain Rind on Tuesday arranged a farewell party for Sector Commander Pakistan Rangers Sindh Brigadier Naseem and Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central Irfan Baloch.
DIGP Khadim Hussain Rind said it was great working with both the officers. He said the mission of police and rangers was same to restore peace in the city. During the elections both police and rangers performed at their best for peaceful conduct of the polling.
The outgoing Rangers Sector Commander Brigadier Naseem thanked the DIGP and other officers of police and rangers. He said the West zone was the most sensitive zone of the metropolis. He said the rangers and police coordinated in well manner and ensured elimination of terrorism, target killings from the zone. He said the joint efforts of both the forces resulted in peaceful conduct of elections and better law and order during Muharram-ul-Haram.
Outgoing SSP Central Irfan Baloch, Sector Commander Brigadier Abdul Ghafoor, SSP Muhammad Arif Aslam Rao, SSP-West Dr Rizwan Khan, SSP Investigation Amjad Hayat, SP Liaquatabad Shabbir Baloch and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Later, DIGP Khadim Hussain Rind presented traditional Ajrak and shield to the outgoing and newly posted officers of police and rangers.
