Pak, EU sign two agreements for Rural Advancement

Islamabad, Dec. 29 (TNS): Pakistan and European Union have signed two agreements Comparison Development through Enhanced Education Programme and Growth for Rural Advancement and Sustainable Progress.

The Secretary Economic Affairs Division, Noor Ahmed and the Ambassador of the EU to Pakistan, Jean Francois Cautain, signed these agreements.

Growth for Rural Advancement and Sustainable Progress is a six year programme that contributes to the reduction of poverty, creating employment and income opportunities in the rural areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Development through Enhanced Education Programme aims to contribute towards universal access to quality education in Sindh.
