Governor Punjab Ch. Sarwar stated while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Journalist Foundation (PJF), the days of corruption, commission and nepotism are over.

Lahore, Jan. 23 (TNS): In the tenure of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s government everything will be decided on merit as the Days of corruption, commission and nepotism are over, stated by Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar.

The governor further said there is no place for corrupt, inefficient and incapable elements in the government of PTI. The Sihawal’s tragedy was a worst incident, and those who were responsible for it would bring to justice. Justice will be provided to the aggrieved family.

It was stated by the Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar while talking to a delegation of Pakistan Journalist Foundation (PJF), comprising Chairman Zulfikar Ahmed, senior journalist, columnist, and TV anchor at the Governor House. Renowned cartoonist Javaid Iqbal, Senior Journalist Mian Siaf ur Rehman, Adnan Malik, Aniq Naji, Khalid Aftab, Shakeel Malik, Naeem Saqib, Afzal Malik, Wasim A. Mehmood, Zabih Ullah, Asad Ullah Khan, Fatima Saif, Amjad Iqbal, Shahid Nazir Chaudhry, Mirza Amir Khurshid Baig, Rehan Azhar, Hafiz Zain, Rana Imran Latif, Mohammad Imran Bloch, and Shahid Iqbal were also the part of the delegation.

The PTI government turned the country’s economy in right direction within five months, he said. Land worth billion of rupees retrieved and encroachments were removed from there. Planning is in progress for the employment of the hundreds of thousands of people.  Successful visits of Prime Minister Imran Khan to Saudi Arab, Malaysia, China, UAE, and Qatar proved that credible leadership brought respect for the Pakistan all over the world. Besides, friendly country also helped Pakistan.

All credits are goes to Imran Khan’s transparent and honest leadership, the governor said. He further said that the Sahiwal tragedy might never been happened if action was taken against the accused of Model Town incident and Naqeeb Ullah Mehsood. He assured that accused of the Sahiwal incident will never be pardon. Day and night efforts are in progress to get the status of GSP Plus for Pakistan, which will benefit for the country.

An authority is making for the clean water and in this regard he is doing work over it. People will appoint in the authority on merit and capability. NGOs are also collaborating in the project, while my family, relatives and friends collected funds from local and overseas Pakistanies. It is his dream to work for education and in this regarded United Nation’s advisor on education Gordon Brown, who is also my friend assured hefty grant for the education sector in the country. Education will be provided to poor from the grant.

There is need of energy saving culture, through which we can save lots of energy, the  governor said. There is no difference with allies while replying to difference with PML-Q which led to end the Punjab government. He asked the opposition to stop spreading rumors. Our government will complete the five years tenure as it is given by the people of the country, he added.

The governor said he was happy to see senior journalists, columnists, and anchors in Pakistan Journalist Foundation (PJF).  He also congratulated them for journalist community’s education and welfare and media ethics.
