Islamabad, July 22 (TNS): Amid rumors, Interior Ministry has issued a clarification, denying media reports of resignation of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
“Publication of such reports without revealing sources is inappropriate,” interior ministry spokesperson said in a statement.
The spokesman requested media organisations not to circulate rumours regarding the resignation.
According to local media reports, Interior Minister will address to a news conference on Sunday in which he will clear his position.
The spokesman, however, did not reveal the subject of interior minster’s upcoming press conference.
Chaudhry Nisar expressed anger with the media for publishing ‘false’ reports that he had exchanged punitive words with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif during July 13 cabinet meeting.
