SARGODHA, July 23 (TNS): Armed robbers looted over a million rupees cash from a house here on Sunday.
Armed robbers barged into a house located in Mansoorabad area of Sargodha in the wee hours of Sunday and took the residents hostage at gun point. The robbers took away 1,100,000 cash and other valuables from the house.
Meanwhile, the police arrested five culprits after they attempted to rape a teenage girl in suburban village 35-Northern of Sargodha. Brother of the girl alleged that the culprits were harassing the girl but police was not paying heed despite repeated complaints and evading action any against the influential culprits deliberately.
However, the police said that culprits have been arrested and under interrogation.
