Karachi, July 24 (TNS): Karachi police is on target of terrorists as another traffic warden shot dead and another injured in a gun attack here on Monday.
According to officials, the cops came under attack at Abul Hasan Isphani road area of Karachi.
The wardens were controlling the traffic during their duty hours when they were ambushed by terrorists.
After ambush, the attackers also took away MP-5 SMG from the traffic dead and injured cops, say officials.
Police and rescue team rushed to the site soon after attack while wounded cop was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police found at least 10 casings of 9mm from the scene.
SSP Malir Rao Anwar while talking to media said that a group of 12-14 cuprits active in the metropolis who are carrying out attacks on police personnel.
Earlier on Friday, 3 policemen were killed when terrorists opened fire on their vehicle in Karachi’s Korangi area.
