Lady health worker receives extortion call from ISIS commander


RAWALPINDI, June 20 (TNS): Lady health worker in primary health care department, Shagufta Naaz received extortion call of Rs5 lac from Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) commander.

The worker has filed a plea at Airport police station, saying that the suspects have threatened to kill her eight-year-old son in case of not giving extortion money.

She said that she has got calls and messages from two different numbers, demanding to give Rs5 lac or else they will target her son.

The worker has also requested the authorities to provide her foolproof security and also to take action into the matter.
