MULTAN JULY 26 (TNS): Chief Minister Punjab Shehbaz Sharif has dismissed the whole staff of the Muzaffarabad Police Station for their negligence in registering FIR of rape case.
After meeting the victims of the rape and their families here, Shahbaz Sharif termed the incident as worst example of cruelty. The responsible people will be punished. They will not be allowed to run away. The first incident occurred on July 16 and the second happened on July 18 following the orders of Panchayat. And the FIR was registered on July 24 after the expiry of eight days.
The three member committee was formed for the investigation of the incident. And the committee was given 72 hours to submit investigation report.
Moreover the medical reports of the rape victims found no scars of torture on their bodies, further investigation will follow the DNA reports which are yet to come.
