Petrol price cut down

ISLAMABAD, Aug. 5 (TNS): Petrol price has been revised in favor of the public as the tariff is reduced by Rs 1.80 per lire as announced by finance minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday.

Dar made the announcement a day after he took oath as the finance minister of Pakistan in cabinet of fresh Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

On July 28, Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) recommended Rs 3.67/ liter cut in petrol price. OGRA also recommended revision of prices for Kerosene, high speed diesel and light speed diesel.
