Slow internet speed irks users on second day

LAHORE, August 06 (TNS): Slow internet speed is continuing to irk users on second day (Sunday) as the fault in the international submarine cable system IMV could not be resolved entirely.

The 13,000km-long IMV cable, extending from India till France, was affected by a technical fault near Jeddah on Saturday creating difficulties for the internet subscribers.

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) General Manager (GM) Imran Janjua has claimed that the issue will be resolved today. He let it be known that international engineers are fixing the problem.

Furthermore, PTCL authorities have informed that they have successfully arranged for additional bandwidth through their international cable systems and partners, and things will start getting better.
