Islamabad (TNS) Fateh Jang Tehsildar Chaudhry Shafqat Mehmood, in his message on the occasion of Eid Miladun Nabi ﷺ, said the birth of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was the greatest blessing for humanity, as his life and character embody the message of compassion, tolerance, peace and service to mankind.
He said the challenges facing the Muslim world today could only be addressed by molding individual and collective lives in accordance with the Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH). “Through our actions we must demonstrate to the world that we are true followers of the Holy Prophet (PBUH),” he added.
Mr Mehmood underlined that Pakistan’s real strength lay in its Islamic values and adherence to the teachings of the Prophet (PBUH). He maintained that these principles could help the nation build a prosperous and peaceful society.
The tehsildar also appealed to citizens to foster greater unity, harmony and fraternity, and to pledge that Pakistan would be developed in line with the principles of the Greatest State
