LAHORE, Aug 14 (TNS): The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) sealed a soft drinks factory and a café over use of substandard material and chemicals here on Sunday.
Director General (DG) PFA, Noorul Amin Mengal said that the authority raided a soft drinks factory in Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate in Kot Lakhpat Lahore. The PFA sealed the factory over use of prohibited chemicals in and presence of glass granule in empty bottles.
Meanwhile, the PFA sealed a café and imposed Rs2,00,000 fine over use of substandard food commodities, unhygienic condition and absence of required documents in Defence area.
