RAHIM YAR KHAN Aug 30 (TNS): In Liaquatpur Chak No. 20 one constable named Yousaf Bhutta, who was drunk, entered a house and tried to rape a woman.
The constable was caught red-handed by relatives of the victim and residents of the area and beaten up severely. Later on, his face was blackened and he was handed over to Liaquatpur police station.
A case has been registered against the constable. He has been booked via case No. 17/302 under the Pakistan Penal Code.
DPO Zeeshan Asghar has dismissed the accused and asked DSP Shahid Niaz to take penal action against.
