DUBAI Sept 28 (TNS): Pakistan skipper across all three formats Sarfraz Ahmed has backed the idea of holding bilateral series between Pakistan and India, and said the spectators in both countries want to see the arch-rivals playing against each other.

Sarfraz has been made the brand ambassador by an Indian company for its market in Pakistan, and the captain expressed his views while talking to media in the ceremony that was arranged in Dubai.

He hoped that the step taken by the company may also help to improve the Pakistan-India relations and to revive the bilateral series between them. The group has strong position in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market, and is connected with Sarfraz Ahmed even before his international debut.

Let it be known that the company has always helped young players in shaping their careers, and Pakistan’s Yasir Shah, Asad Shafiq and Fakhar Zaman were also associated with it in the past.
