Annual ‘National Skill Competition’ held in Islamabad

Islamabad, Oct. 24 (TNS): To produce skilled manpower, the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTV) arranged annual National Skill Competition in federal capital.

The event was held at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in which hundreds of young men and women from across the country took part.

The competition was held between candidates trained in 11 different trades such as heavy machinery, beauty courses, plumbing and motor mechanics.

Winners in each category will be awarded cash prizes and certificates by the president at the President House next week.

The first, second and third position holders will be given Rs100,000 Rs75,000 and Rs50,000 respectively.
