Shahid Aslam had gone missing under mysterious circumstances last Friday.
Police have confirmed the safe return of Air Commodore (retd) Shahid Aslam.
Officials said that after a thorough investigation, the case of kidnapping would be discarded.
Aslam’s brother-in-law on June 15 registered a FIR at Margalla Police Station here in which family claimed that Shahid Aslam was kidnapped.
The mysterious disappearance of the top official had raised eyebrows of many experts with some suggesting that Aslam may have been kidnapped in an attempt to delay work on the New Islamabad Airport, which is scheduled to be completed by August.
